This is an easy and kid-friendly recipe to go with rice, porridge, sandwich or any wraps.
INGREDIENTS:
- 200g/ 1pc of organic tofu
- 1tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4tsp cumin seeds (optional, or you can add other seasonings too)
- 1/2tsp salt
STEPS:
- Drain the tofu and mash it in a bowl until crumbled. It doesn’t need to be too fine, it’s nice to leave a few chunky pieces.
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan and lightly fry the tofu to dry off some of the water.
- Add in nutritional yeast, salt, turmeric and cumin seeds. Stir fry for another 1 to 2 minutes until all combined and mixed well.
- Ready to serve as a dish or with toast.
Remarks: You can replace tofu with steamed cauliflower.
